Monday Morning

I cut all of my hair off on Saturday. I got a couple of compliments yesterday, but no one has mentioned it at work today. I don't know if no one has noticed, or if they think it looks bad. Oh well! Nothing I can do about it now!

I thought it would be crazy busy here when I got back! I've been told last week was a mad house! But it's been a quiet morning. That's good and bad. I hope we pick up a little... not TOO much. I know that it will be crazy soon enough. We are waiting for two drill teams to turn in ads so we can work on their programs.

I had a meeting scheduled for tonight and it got postponed which is GREAT because now I can get home and unpack a few things, and still have dinner ready for Brett when he gets home. Perfect!

This morning was interesting. Brett doesn't have to be at work until 9 so he was going to get up at 8. I wanted to leave the apartment at 8, so I got up at 6. I got TONS done! I took a shower and then while my hair towel dried, I made cupcakes to bring to work, unloaded and reloaded the dishwasher, emptied the dryer and started a new load of laundry. That's it. But not bad, eh?

Now that I am at work and it is quiet, I am wishing I slept a little later, but I feel like I've already accomplished some things today and that's a great feeling! And I was super quiet! Brett said he didn't hear me at all!

AND the charge for the hotel cleared this morning so we are FINALLY done paying for honeymoon stuff. Well almost. I need to pay Mel back the money I borrowed. But she's not in a huge hurry. I can do that over this month.
