At lunch, I bought thank you cards, so I will be ready to write them right away after the shower this weekend. I also bought gifts for my shower hostesses. And a fruit bowl. I wasn't supposed to buy the fruit bowl, but it was on clearance and I thought Brett would like it. And it totally goes with out dishes!
I feel good when I accomplish things. I feel even BETTER when I can delete them off of my "To Do" widget. I feel disappointed when I go to cross something off of my list and realize I forgot to put it on the list in the first place. Silly Kim.
One day at a time.
Last night I bought the coffee table/ottoman that I have been eyeing. It was originally $79.99 at Target, but yesterday I decided to check the ad for ideas for a gift for my girls, and what was on the front page? Our ottoman! On sale for $59! It was SO nice to watch a little tv with Brett on our couch last night with out feet propped up on our overstuffed fake leather ottoman. Good times =-)
Tonight we are going to put together our final bookcase and I am going to mop for the first time. Woohoo! (I also bought a Swiffer wet jet last night. It's perfect for our kitchen!) We are also going to write out a bill paying schedule. For sure this time!
