I was slightly nervous earlier in the week because I feel like a decision this big has a lot of little things that bring with them the potential for an argument. I mean, who isn't picky about where they live? (Other than college guys) I LOVED the last apartment that I lived in, so I may be difficult to please... I'm kind of a snob about where I live. Not in the sense that I need to BE somewhere fancy, but it's important that I come home to a place that I like.
But today I am not feeling any anxiety, just excitement. His lease is up at the end of January so he will probably move the week before then (to give us time to clean his apartment). So we are taking a few months to take our time and try to find something that really suits us.
We know that we want to live in Las Colinas, but it's been quite a while since I have looked at apartments over there, so I have no idea what the pricing is up to these days. There is no way that he and I could fit all of our things into a one bedroom, but possible a one bedroom with a study. Most likely, we need a two bedroom. I hope that the prices aren't shocking. I feel like since no one is buying houses, apartments will be in demand, which means prices are high. But we will see. Whatever happens, I'm glad that we are starting the hunt!
Woohoo!
