Quick Madi Story

This weekend my family decorated the house for Halloween. Mostly the living room inside. My mom told me last night that every time she and Madi hung something up Madi would say "I hope this scares the little children!"

What? I laughed so hard when my mom told me this! I'm laughing right now typing it! She said it when they put up the spider web, "I hope this scares the little children", she said it when they taped a smiling witch to the front door, "I hope this scares the little children", and even when they put up the little teddy bears dressed in Halloween costumes. What in the world is she talking about? Madi IS "the little children"! What little children is she referring to? And why does she hope they get scared?
