I have already confessed that I liked Mamma Mia a little more than I should have considering the numerous elements that were honestly just mediocre. But now I feel like someone looked at my movie shelf and made this list up. 8 out of 10 of the top ten grossing films are movies that I unashamedly love! The two exceptions are Mamma Mia, which I really liked but can't say that I love yet, and Full Monty which I have actually never seen. But read this list and you will see 8 movies that I could (and often do) quote freely.
1. Mamma Mia (Eagerly waiting to buy it)
2. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (One of my favorite movies of all time)
3. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (Hello!)
4. The Full Monty
5. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (Um, Hello!)
6. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (Again, Hello!)
7. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (Heck YES!)
8. Bridget Jone's Diary (Watched this one Sunday)
9. Love Actually (I have watched this movie twice this week)
10. Bridget Jone's: Edge of Reason (Love it, except for the "Like A Virgin" part... a little silly)
So there you go.
In HPs defense though, Mamma Mia wasn't doing so well until they released a sing-a-long version in theaters. I have no idea if I should have put hyphens in the word sing-a-long, but I just did it again, so we will pretend like that is right. I am also offended that I didn't get to see a sing-a-long showing! What's that all about?
